Here is my beautiful Abbie in the month of August. She became my new gym buddy when my friend, Jennie, left on her mission. I think we went like three times and then school started and it got too crazy.
She also made this delicious looking watermelon cake. Plus, there's the bonus selfie where she's just looking gorgeous and all grown up.
Oakcrest
This is something Abbie has been waiting for for a very long time...Oakcrest Girls Camp!
This is an LDS girls camp for girls who have finished the 7th grade. They get to stay in cabins, laugh themselves into an oblivion, do archery and shooting ranges, hike, swing, do crafts, and eat a ton of food.
Plus, they also have the added bonus of strengthening their testimony of the Savior while doing all of those fun things. It's a win/win!
She had a great week, learned a lot, made some new friends, and came home exhausted. I call that a successful week.
