Fowlks Cabin Fever- Part 2

When I was posting all of our summer fun items, I totally space posting about one of the most fun things that we did this summer!  And with school starting I have just been pushing this blog to the very bottom of my pile.  But I just cannot let any more time go by or I will forget the details.  So here we go...Fowlks Cabin Fever- Part 2.

Chad and Danette came into down a day or so early so they hung out at our house.  We had fun with them here, especially when we got the fire pit out and made a mess with marshmallows and chocolate.

On Monday, July 25th, we all headed up to Park City.  We met at a cabin in Deer Valley and got settled in for a week of lots of fun, lots of noise, and lots of tears, and lots of laughter.

On Tuesday, July 26th, some of the boys went golfing so the girls and kiddos decided to head to the zoo.  It was a hot day so we went as early as we could.  We saw the new lion cubs, which was fun.  Everyone was exhausted by lunchtime, but we stuck it out a little longer and watched the bird show, rode the train, and watched the elephant show as well.

That night the kids all painted rocks to take to the Fairy Forest the next day.

(Wednesday, July 27th)  Pinterest did not disappoint this time!  The fairy forest was pretty cool and much bigger than we all expected.  There were painted rocks, glitter, tulle, sticks, and tiny houses everywhere!  Grandpa made his own special tower out of rocks.  We were all so proud of him. :)  Dan pretended to be a javelin thrower and Eli just ran around in circles while Danette tried to keep up with him.

After the fairy forest, we drove to Rockport Reservoir.  We rented the water trampoline and spent the next few hours splashing around in the water and getting slightly roasted by the blazing sun.

On Thursday, July 28th, we went into Park City and played around there.  First we went to the Alpine Slides and everyone took a turn sliding down the mountain on the slides and the coaster.

We ate lunch on Main Street in Park City and some of us walked around looking at a few of the shops there.  When we were done, we just spent the rest of the time hanging out at the cabin.  We had entertainment by Carly, Raylie, and Ellie...and of course there was the usual entertainment that Luke, Kaido, Eli, and Cope do just by being them.
That night was our last night so grandma and I pulled out the glowsticks/wands and everyone went a little bit crazy.

It was such a fun week and I look forward to the next Fowlks Cabin Fever adventure.

Here are some video clips from the week.
