Our last Hurrah!

So we just got back from our last summer vacation for the year. So sad. Now I have to get into preschool and PTA mode and I don't wanna!

But the "stay"cation was a blast and I'm so glad we were able to take the time to do it. It started off spending the day at the girls camp where my grandparents are helping out this summer. They invited us up there to check out all the fun things they have there. They have a zip-line, archery, volleyball, hiking trails, four wheelers and lots and lots of little critters running around. Everyone had a great time going down the zip-lines. Emma and Josh turned out to be pretty good little archers, and we all had a good time riding around on the four wheelers.
After a tour through the new Oquirrh Mountain Temple, we headed up to the "top of the world" or so it seemed. My parents had rented a couple of condos and they were pretty much at the top of Ogden canyon. It was a steep climb, but such a beautiful drive! We had a great time swimming at the condo, playing around at Lagoon and riding some wave runners at Pine View Reservoir. We were all amazed at how well the kids behaved at Lagoon and at the lake. They were troopers and everyone had such a good time. It was fun to just relax and spend time together. We missed Chad and Danette, but I'm glad they are having a fun time in Colorado with Chad's family. We are already planning a trip to Lake Powell for next summer guys, so be there or be square!
