Seven years ago today, our sweet little Emma Kay joined our family of three. . .

The first year was filled with cute smiles, bows stuck on a bald head, LOTS of ear infections,
and lots of laughter. . .

With a little bit of luck, she finally grew some hair so during year 2,
we could do something cute up there!
She also became a big sister!
Year 3 brought lots of cute "Emmaism's" like:"Dere it is!" (There it is!),
"I fine it!" ( I find it!), &
"Goyls" (Girls)
We also put in a 2nd set of ear tubes.

Emma kept getting bigger, despite our best efforts to keep her little and suddenly she was 4!
This is when she decided to be a beautician like Grandma O. and cut her hair that we worked so hard to get!
During year 5, Emma turned into a cute little Kindergartener, a fabulous little ice skater, andcontinued to say cute and funny things like,
"Good News, Mommy!" And then she would proceed to tell me the good news for the moment.
This little catch phrase came before almost every good thing she had to say.
Then last year she turned 6.Where did the time go?
She started 1st grade, won some gold medals, lost her first teeth,
and somehow still got even cuter!
Now here we are at age 7.Emma has grown from a cute little bald baby to a cute big girl with beautiful long hair.
(She is growing it long to donate to Locks of Love)
She is a sweetheart, a peacemaker, a talented ice skater, pianist and artist.
She brings so much joy to our home (and a lot of drama too!)
We love you, Emma Kay!
Have a great 7th Birthday!

Happy Happy Birthday Emma! We love you and hope you have a great day!
