Another successful ice skating competition down- hundreds to go, I'm sure. :/
We had a really fun time with this one because we got to stay in a hotel overnight.
You would think that we never take our kids anywhere by the way they acted when we got to the hotel room...yikes. Ellie could not stop jumping on the bed. :)

Abbie's Freestyle "Under the Sea"
Abbie competed on Friday night- there were 4 skaters in her group. She was in the Basic Skills 6 division. She skated to the song "Under the Sea" and she won the silver medal! This was her 2nd competition and probably her last for a while at least. She is taking a music class and has decided that she wants to play the violin so she is taking a break from ice skating. :)
Emma's Showcase "Real Gone"
Emma competed in 2 events this time. This was the first competition at a new level, Pre-Preliminary. It was also her first time doing an axel in competition and she nailed every one. So proud of her... :) She received the Bronze Medal in her showcase and the Bronze in her Freestyle event.
Emma's Freestyle "Mary Poppins Medley"
I am so proud of my two cute ice skating princesses. They have worked so hard and I am happy that they had fun and did their very best.
Abbie just wanted to get her event over with so they could go back to the hotel and swim in the pool. :)
