We have a tradition of going to the zoo on Christmas Eve day. The kids look forward to it and so do Mark and I. It's a lot of fun. There are no crowds, I think we saw maybe three other families there. The animals are all really active too. We couldn't see the elephants, they don't like the snow, but we saw pretty much everything else. Ellie was fun this year. She loved the monkeys which is appropriate because she is a monkey.
It is so funny that you go to the zoo, that is what we do on Christmas eve! what time were you there? Nathan's family has done that for years and we love how active the animals are too! Fun, maybe next year we could meet up.
